We had a fantastic experience with our very knowledgeable guide Joel. He was friendly and helpful and explained a delicious brunch spread. We could see not only many elephants, but also lions, various antelope species, buffalo, monkeys, zebras and warthogs. Joel went out of his way to make sure we had a great view and saw everything that was available. Our vehicle was perfect for the windy and fairly cool day with windows that you could open down to see nature closer up.
Wonderful day trip to Addo national park with the best guide ever Joel Matoko! Many animals our children will not be lucky enough to see in the wild… And excellent braai.
We really enjoyed the safari with Joel: in just one morning we saw buffalo, lions and of course elephants. Moreover, Joel was very nice, the information he provided was very educational and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely recommend this activity to our friends. Thanks again!
Many thanks to the guide Joel for the unforgettable safari. Joel is an extremely funny and friendly guy! From 8:30 am to 6 pm he didn’t get tired of explaining the animal behaviour, informing us about the ecosystem and at the same time looking for animals in the park. You could feel his passion for nature and wildlife and his job in every second!!! We had a very exciting and entertaining day, we saw, experienced and learned a lot! I would recommend this safari to every Addo visitor! Lunch completely exceeded our expectations! There was a lot to choose from, including vegetarian dishes, and it was extremely tasty! I don’t need to mention that it was generally a great experience to have a typical braai in the middle of the wilderness! Many Thanks Joel!!

He knew an incredible amount along the way, saw animals from a distance where we ourselves first saw nothing, made every effort in the world to make us feel at home and prepared a delicious braai during the afternoon. We stayed in the park until 5 minutes before closing time, to make sure to take advantage of all the opportunities to spot animals. A big recommendation, you can’t have a better guide!
